Heated Insoles

How are heated insoles different from heated socks?

Heated insoles sit inside your shoe and warm the sole of your foot, while heated socks wrap warmth around the whole foot. Insoles are handy when you want to keep wearing your favorite boots and just add heat underfoot. Some people layer both when it is truly cold.

Do heated insoles fit any shoe?

Heated insoles trim to size, so they fit a wide range of boots and shoes. Keep in mind they add a little thickness, so leave some room in snug ski or work boots. Going a half-size up in footwear can help them fit comfortably.

How long do heated insoles stay warm?

Heated insoles last up to 11 hours on low, and less on higher settings, since they run on a small 3.7-volt battery. Because your foot warms the whole shoe over time, you often need less heat than you expect. Recharge between outings so they are ready to go.

Are heated insoles worth it for skiing or hunting?

Yes, heated insoles are worth it, since cold feet are one of the top reasons people cut a day short. Insoles keep the sole warm without changing how your boot fits, which matters in stiff ski boots. For long, still sits, pair them with warm socks. You can find both in our men's heated socks and insoles.
